Jill studied at the University of Portsmouth gaining a first class honours degree in Illustration. She is now concentrating on making art for exhibitions, freelance illustrations and designs aimed at the contemporary interior space. She has held workshops at the University and also offers a complete workshop package to schools and colleges.
Jill is willing to undertake commissions and also offers a bespoke picture framing service, using conservation materials and standards.
"Conservation versus the ephemerality of environmental deterioration is an incomplete story that draws me back time and time again, prompting me to hark back to what has been taken from us; whether it be the loss of plant and insect species, the old garden once full of old fashioned perennials and now classed as a brown field site, or a much loved tree."
