The Plight of the Honeybee:
Farming needs a new system - a new ethic, a new culture, or rather an old culture. It must re-discover systems of rotation and mixed farming methods producing food that no longer relies on chemical fertilisers and pesticides. Is this what the honeybees are telling us - that our industrialised farming with its monocultures, pesticides and increasingly unreasonable demands on honeybees themselves is not sustainable?
